Taken at the long closed and lamented Florence Air & Space Museum in Spring 1995, this North American 'Hog' Sabre wore the markings of the New Jersey ANG 119th TFS / 177th TFG based at Atlantic City. Sources record her as now preserved at 'Westampton'.
My very first day in the USA and I saw this! The surviving XB-70 Valkyrie used to be displayed outside at the Air Force Museum and from this angle her nickname 'Cecil the Seasick Sea Serpent' (after a 60's cartoon character) made sense.
Operated by West German A.F. Akg-52 this RF-4E 'Photo Phantom' was in the static display at the 1991 Mildenhall Air Fete. When retired from German service she went on to join the Turkish Air Force.

Perhaps the Pima Air & Space Museum's most impressive exhibit, this B-48A Hustler was the last one built. She flew with the 305th BW through her short service career and was retired in 1970. 'Can Do' was the 305th's motto.
