This aircraft had served with No.118 Squadron, RAF, serialled WA306, before transferring to the RNZAF as NZ5769. The aircraft is in No.75 Squadron colours. In the background is Vampire T.11 NZ5707.

NZ5767 had previously served with the RAF as WA374 before transferring to the RNZAF in 1956. The Vampire operated with 14 and 75 Squadrons before conversion to GIA (serial INST.202) at Woodbourne in August 1970. Now at the Classic Flyers Aviation Museum.

NZ5770, ex RAF WA444, was transferred to the RNZAF in June 1956; served with 75 Squadron and was part of its 'Yellowhammers' aerobatic team. NZ5770, in 14 Squadron c/s, is now on display at the Southward Motor Museum, Paraparaumu on the Kapiti Coast.

Former RAF FB.5 WA311 was transferred to the RNZAF in the autumn of 1953 as one of 8 attrition replacement aircraft. The Vampire served with 75 Squadron and later became an instructional airframe. It is on display at Wigram in 14 Squadron colours.
