Back to the 27th May 1989 and the Mildenhall Air Fete, this Victor K.2 was operated by 55 Sqn out of RAF Marham. She last flew in 1993 and her cockpit is now preserved at the RAF History Museum at Manston, Kent.
The starboard side of 'Teasin Tina' carries this 'Meldrew' noseart. Taken from, appropriately enough, Victor Meldrew, the well-loved grumpy old man of British TV.
All 55 Sqn Victors carried nose art named after the crew chiefs' wives as well as a spear, taken from the unit badge painted on the tail. The nose section is all that survives from this aircraft and 'Lucky Lou' is now on display at the RAF Museum.
