For the 75 years D-Day celebrations quite a few L-birds gathered at Saint-Andre-de-l'Eure. Unfortunately heavy winds prevented these from participating in the fly past over the beaches on the 6th of June.

Of Shackleton T4 VP293 only the nose section survives. It is transported on a trailer. I happened to see it in the Newark Air Museum with Shackleton MR3 WR877 behind. A nice combination.
