100 originally ordered as Manchesters in 1939 of which only the first 43
were built as such, the remaining 57, including R5868 being completed as
Lancasters,
delivered between Mar 41 and Aug 42.
This is one of only two airworthy Lancasters worldwide. It was manufactured in 1945 and was delivered to the RCAF and served as 'FM213' from 1946 till 1964. It is seen here in formation with P-51D 'CF-VPM' and P-40N 'C-FVWC'.

This is the AVRO Lancaster Mk.X serial FM104 which was completed by Victory Aircraft in 1945. She was displayed on a plinth on the Toronto waterfront as a memorial, after 35 years of exposure to the Canadian weather she is being restored to her original c
