The Sanders-Roe SR.53 was an interceptor and used a rocket motor to climb to high altitudes. When it was at altitude it used a second Armstrong-Siddeley Viper jet engine, allowing it to remain at altitude. Only 2 were build.

The Fairey Delta 2 (FD.2) was a single-seat, delta-winged aircraft designed for investigation into flight and control at transonic and supersonic speeds. Powered by a Rolls-Royce Avon engine with an afterburner. This aircraft is the second of only two.

In 1955 Auster Aircraft Ltd. modified T.7s WE563 and WE600 for the 1956 Commonwealth Trans Antarctic Expedition. The Model 4C, known as the Auster Antarctic, had extra radio equipment, larger tail surfaces and the ability to be fitted with floats or skis.

XS695 was delivered to the Tripartite (Anglo-American-German) Kestrel Evaluation Squadron at RAF West Raynham on March 30, 1965 and later went to the A&AEE at Boscombe Down, where it was damaged in a landing accident on March 1, 1967.

733682 was the upper part of a Mistel S3B combination, mounted on a Ju 88H-1 at the time of its capture at Tirstrup. The Mistel was flown to Schleswig under RAF escort by a Luftwaffe pilot. From there, the Fw 190A-8/R6 left for the UK in November 1945.

This 'Dinah' was flown by the Allied Technical Air Intelligence Unit South-East Asia (ATAIU-SEA) at Tebrau, Malaya. As traces of the markings of 3 Chutai, 81 Sentai were found during restoration work at St. Athan, the machine is finished in those colors.

K9942, delivered to 72 Squadron at RAF Church Fenton on 24 April 1939, had a brief fighting career, being damaged during a patrol over Dungeness on 5 June 1940. From February 1940 the pre-war 'SD' squadron code was replaced by the 'RN' code.
