This Fw 190F-3/R11 served on the Eastern Front with 1./SG 1. Damaged by Sovjet flak on 7th July, 1943, 'Gelbe 4' was sent back to Germany for repairs. In May 1945, 670071 was wrecked when retreating German forces blew up her hangar at Finsterwalde.

It wears the colours of an JG54 aircraft, piloted by Uffz Ludwig Nitsch. He force landed it in Sweden fleeing from Germany on the last day of WW II, 8th of May 1945.
Preserved at the Imperial War Museum. This aircraft was captured in Germany towards the end of the war. It was to be the upper component of a Mistel S-3B composite aircraft, assigned to KG 200.
Parts from the wreckage of D-9 400616 were incorporated in this Fw 190D-9 reconstruction. On 13 February 1945, Uffz Günther Koch of 9./JG 54, in 'Weiße 16', was shot down in combat with P-47 Thunderbolts of 22 FS/36 FG near Hübingen/Montabauer.
733682 was the upper part of a Mistel S3B combination, mounted on a Ju 88H-1 at the time of its capture at Tirstrup. The Mistel was flown to Schleswig under RAF escort by a Luftwaffe pilot. From there, the Fw 190A-8/R6 left for the UK in November 1945.
