From 1948 until 1971 the SV-4 served the Elementaire Vlieg School (Elementary Flying School) at Schaffen and later at Goetsenhoven.

Built as UC-61A for the USAAC, the a/c was Lend-Leased to Britain serving as HB614 in the RAF. Later registered as G-AJPI. In the early 80s re-engined with a Ranger inline, changing the type into a 24R-46A Argus III. It is now based in the Netherlands.

This former French Army L-18C is now flying in US Army colours. After being fwu it was registered in Germany and the UK as D-EOCC, D-EAGT and G-BLGT.
