One of 6 CH-53s upgraded to CH-53GE standard, which is the same as the CH-53GS version except for the external fuel tanks and engine intakes. Look at the humps and bumps at the end and compare this to earlier shots of the same chopper. (Thanx Klemens)
Thirty two aircraft built under licence from Weserflug between 1957-59, the helicopter were given the serial numbers of WG1 to WG32, which was shared for West Germany. Withdrawn from use 1972 and until replaced by the CH-53D.
