A 127th BS "Jayhawks" Kansas ANG Bone from McConnell AFB gets airborne at RIAT 98, the unit operated the B-1 from 1994-2002, first shot of this B-1 in the AF database
Another preserved B-1, this time GB-1A serial 74-0160 which is on display inside the Wings Over the Rockies Museum in Denver CO. This old Reagan era Cold War warrior prototype is almost impossible to photograph in her entirety so a nose shot must suffice.
The 2004 Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford saw B-1B 86-0198 'Alien With An Attitude' performing a full air display and from start to finish it was most impressive. In this photo 'Alien' lines up to enter the active runway.
Believed to be 'Star of Abilene' shooting touch and go's at Palmdale CA. She was the first B-1B to enter operational sevice with the USAF. A memorable moment!
Still wearing the name "Wolfhound" but missing the artwork to go with it, B-1B 86-0114 was on display airside at the 1989 Mildenhall Air Fete. At that time she was operated by the 46th BS, 319th BW based at Grand Forks, North Dakota.
