Great to renew my aquaintance with this the first single seat Typhoon built for the RAF. I frist saw this jet on her maiden flight back on the 10th May 2007.
Speed leaving without warning. Taking it high into the Belgian skies. Delete the Z and we have the future Dutch Fighter J-910. Aahhh scrap the JSF and buy European instead. It flies, it works and it's compatible. Figure it out...
Turning into a nice roll after departure. This Typhoon showed the photographers at the beginning of KB's runway what it is capable off. Certainly qualifies as the best departure for me that day at that end. I like!!
This was the very first UK production single-seater. The airframe was held back by BAe for ground tests and has only just been delivered to Coningsby. Aircraft has gained 29(R) markings despite operating with 11 Sqn.
The first ever British Single seat production Typhoon F2 lines up on BAE Systems Warton runway and prepares for her first flight. She is seen her in wearing the primer paint prior to application of the standard grey finish.
