This Canberra PR9 was retired from the RAF when she flew (with two others) into Kemble 31st July 2006. She still wears the light grey ARTF camouflage from her lastoperational deployment when in RAF service.

Wearing a covering of snow Teasin Tina is seen as the sun sets in the distance. XM715 was originally built as a B2 but later became the ninth Victor to be converted to the K2 tanker role and delivered to RAF Marham where she finished her days with 55 Sqn

Teasin Tina is seen as she stands at Bruntingthorpe forming part of the Cold War Jets collection. She is kept in taxiable condition and can regularly be seen performing taxi runs at open days. Sadly she is one of only two such "live" examples of Victor.

A stunning single burner overshoot by this 3 Sqn jet at RAF Coningsby. This jet is still in F2 standard fit however like others will be upgraded to FGR4 standard shortly.

An unusal vistor to RAF Coningsby was this 78 Sqn Merlin HC3A. This was one of a batch of Merlins destined for the Danish air force but diverted to the RAF, also the first image of this aircraft to Airfighters.

Another first for me is this Typhoon T1 which was the first production T-bird Typhoon for the RAF, seen now serving as BC with 29(R) Sqn at RAF Coningsby.

Captured on approach to RAF Coningsby is the CO of XI(F) Sqn`s jet coded DXI. I was fortunate enough to witness this jets first flight at BAE systems Warton back in June 2007.
