This Slovak Tiger MiG-29 was w/o in a mid-air collision on Nov., 6th 2002 killing one pilot. 5 months before it still performed a fantastic display at the Slovak International Air Display.

Those were the glory days when MiGs where still in service within the Luftwaffe. The topside view nicely shows the German and US national colours on the elevators and the fuselage.

Approaching the Axalp together with R-2111. The Mirage IIIRS Recce Runs at the beginning of the show were the main highlight during the event. 2003 was the final year for it. I am still missing them nowadays and looking for a proper replacement to come...

This Phantom has been converted in a QF-4G in 1999. Before that the aircraft flew at the 81 TFS/52 TFW at Spangdahlem. It remains to be seen how long it will still exist...
