More than 1800 B-47's were produced with March Field home to them between 1953 and 1963. This one is parked in the museum and is on loan from the USAF Museum.
This B-57B began life as a "D" model bomber and was delivered to the Air Force on March 29, 1955. After storage at the "boneyard" at Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ, from 1969-1972, it was converted in 1973 to an EB-57B and flew until 1981.
This prototype F-14 was delivered to the US Navy in 1972 as number 11 of 12 test aircraft. It participated in carrier use suitability on the USS Independence. It was retired in 1982 after 1,264 flight hours.
