The Washington Army National Guard 1-168th recently transitioned to (and deployed with) new-build CH-47F models, however, there are at least two Delta's still in the unit.
This Chinook, Originally CH-47A 61-2409, is the oldest airframe in the entire United States Army inventory. The 1-168th recently transitioned to new-build CH-47F's, but have kept "My Old Lady" and one other CH-47D in inventory.
These charcoal black helos proved very difficult to photograph. Only from a certain angle serial and code started to glare, so these became more or less visible.
