another view of F-100F Super Sabre by the Connecticut ANG, 118th TFS, 127th TFW, based at Bradley Field, to Europe in fall of 1975 during excercise "Cold Fire" from 1. Nov - 13. Nov, 1975. Transferred to Turkish AF in Sep, 1978
Formerly operated by the 112th TFS Ohio ANG out of Toledo, this F-100F Super Sabre was in excellent condition when photographed on "Celebrity Row" in AMARC in October 1994. She was eventually obtained for preservation at Burnet Texas.
An interesting find at AMARC in late 1989, it appeared as if this ex. Air National Guard 'Hun' was being prepared for conversion to QF-100F drone standard. She eventually ended up on display at Duncan AZ, one of the few lucky Huns which were not shot out
The warning signs indicate that this 'Hun' has been converted to QF-100F drone standard. Interestingly there appears to be some artwork on the inside of the nose wheel door.
One of the few 'Huns' left in AMARC in late 1989, this F-100F still wears the markings of her last operator, the 128th TFS / 116th TFW Georgia ANG based at Dobbins AFB near Atlanta.
An interesting find at AMARC in late 1989, it appeared as if this ex. Air National Guard 'Hun' was being prepared for conversion to QF-100F drone standard. She went on to become AD-409 with the 475th WEG
This F-100F was being restored to flying condition so she could be delivered to Mojave for conversion to the QF-100F drone standard. Her colour scheme is quite rare for an F-100.
