The 152nd Fighter Squadron of the Tucson based Arizona ANG has a long association with the F-100 'Hun', operating the F-100A, F-100C, F-100D and F-100F models at various times between 1958 and 1978. This preserved F-100D proudly guards the main gate.

Formerly operated by the 122nd TFS / 159th TFG Louisiana ANG this 'Hun' entered MASDC in April 1979. Just five months after this photo was taken on AMARC's 'Celebrity Row' she was flown to Mojave CA to be converted to QF-100D drone standard.

This stored F-100D wore "Arizona" on her tail fin and this most likely denotes former ownership by the Tucson based 152nd TFTS, Arizona ANG.

A row of 'Hun' tail fins in AMARC in 1987. Almost all were converted to QF-100 drone standard and 'expended' as missile targets. Their unit markings reflect a proud selection of ANG units.

This F-100D was most likely being processed out of AMARC to be converted to QF-100D standard at Mojave. Her final fate was no doubt a fiery death over the Gulf of Mexico.
