Nothing like seeing historic aircraft flying in formation together over the sky's! I love these and the awesome background music they play with them still gives me goosebumps even after hearing the same song for over a year now.
On display at the Pima Air and Space Museum. One, of only 3 XJL-1 prototypes ever built, still excists. The JL program was cancelled in 1948 and no further production orders were placed.
The Spitfire tailchases at Duxford are always pretty spectacular, this years display at Flying Legends was no exception, PL344 leads a trio into the attack, a particularly poignant image in 2010, the 70th Anniversary of the Battle of Britain.
