MH434 is one of the longest serving warbirds in the UK and the European Continent. First registered as G-ASJV in July 1963, the Spitfire has been based at Duxford with the Old Flying Machine Company. MH434 is flown here by Stuart Goldspink.
(Ex RCAF 21261, CF-IHB, G-OAHB, G-JETT & N33VC). Restored to its former Royal Canadian Air Force markings and operated by the Golden Apple Trust.Crashed on take off from Duxford on 6th September 2006. Miraculously, both crew members survived.
