Back in 1987 this Venom FB.50 formerly Swiss J-1542 was registered as G-GONE belonging to a P Meeson and wore what appeared to be a Fleet Air Arm colour scheme.

ZK-VNM ‘WE434/L' is in the colours of No.14 Squadron, RNZAF, as based at RAF Tengah, Singapore, during the ‘Malayan Emergency’. The RNZAF’s Venoms were on loan from the RAF and were returned when No.14 Squadron was withdrawn to New Zealand in 1958

After use with the Swedish air force this Venom was transferred to the civil company Svensk Flygtjanst for target acquisition work. In 1969 it was deregistered as such and in 1979 it was transferred to the Flyvapenmuseum (Malmen). Now it is in Vasteras.

Delivered to the Flygvapnet in 1953 and withdrawn in 1960. It than went for target towing duties to Svenks Flygtjänst as SE-DCD, where it served until 1969.
