Painted as the record breaking WB188 this previously airworthy Hunter GA11 had lost her permit-to-fly and was owned by Delta Jets at Kemble. She is now preserved at St Mawgan however her future is in some doubt with the closure of the CAHC. (April 2023)

back to 21st June 2009 and the Kemble Air Day, this is the F-86A Sabre serial 48-178 and the world's oldest flyable jet. Sadly she has been returned to the USA however I was happy to be able to take this photo of her, now coming up to ten years ago.
Although XP502 never flew with the Red Arrow team she is preserved at Kemble/Cotswold airport as a guard by the control tower as a reminder that the Reds were based there. (Marked as XR540)
