I am thrilled to see the oldest of the three preserved North American B-45 Tornado jet bombers at the Castle Air Museum. The B-45 is largely forgotten nowadays however, although her service life was brief, she gave the USAF valuable jet experience.

Tucked away in the farthest corner of the Strategic Air and Space Museum at Ashland, Nebraska, a very rare North American RB-45C Tornado. The B-45 was the first operational jet bomber in the United States Air Force and has been largely overlooked.
