Gnat XR991 (really XS102) lifts off to display at Kemble Airshow. This Gnat is painted to depict a Gnat which was part of the Yellowjacks an RAF display team in the mid 1960`s
On September 3, 1978 the air show began with Red Arrows Aerobatic Team air display. It was amazing for me, when I did this picture the planes were closer over the people. I never will forget that day.
About to land at Biggin Hill in 2005, this Gnat T.1 is marked as XR991, was in reality XS102 when in service with the RAF and is now G-MOUR. She is painted to represent one of the RAF 'Yellowjackets' display team aircraft.
