'Nordic Warrior' was the artwork worn by a KC-135A Stratotanker operated by the 410th Bomb Wing out of K.I. Sawyer AFB, Michigan. She was not selected for conversion to KC-135R standard and entered AMARC in 1992 and later scrapped by HVF West.
Back to the 1991 Mildenhall Air Fete and a KC-135A in the 'Shamu' colour scheme. She was operated by the 2nd Bomb Wing out of Barksdale AFB. She was later converted to the KC-135R standard and has been supplied to Turkey.
AMARG Park Code AACA0039, This aircraft arrived at AMARG 28th Oct 1992 from McGuire 305th ARW / 920th ARS. Some days after this Image was taken(28/10), the Airframe was removed, and passed to New Phoenix Metals and She was sadly Scrapped.
KC-135A 56-3642 pcn CA 078. She entered AMARC August 1993 and I understand was last operated by the 906th ARS / 43rd ARW which I think was out of Minot, ND. She is recorded as since scrapped.
