VS-24 "Scouts" jet, AJ-701 drops the arrestor cable following a trap aboard USS Theodore Roosevelt CVN-71. Roosevelt and CVW-8 were deployed during 2005 in support of OIF. This was VS-24's last combat cruise before the unit decommissioned in March 2007.
