Geeez, that's a nasty picture, with the entire frontal part of the plane engulfed in flames. Had the pilot ejected before that photo was taken?

Yes, pleased to record that both pilots ejected safely. Funny thing was, all I remember was complete silence as the MiG fell to the ground. Everyone was stood watching in shock and I had to make myself take photos.
