Dedicated, two-place, basic and intermediate jet trainer with carrier capability. Excellent pilot visibility, un-swept wings and wide track landing gear make the T-2 an easy and forgiving aircraft to learn for a novice pilot. A twin engine design provides an extra degree of safety, necessary for over-water operations.
