Just the second Starlifter constructed and one of the very few that retained the original 'short fuselage' configuration, this former Edwards AFB based AFMC NC-141A basks in the sun in AMARC. She was scrapped in August 2003.

Sadly the second Starlifter built was a bit of a 'people magnet' in the static display at the 1998 Mildenhall Air Fete hence this poor photo. Also sadly she was cut up for scrap just five years later.

This old beauty was the second Starlifter built, seen in the static display at the 1998 Mildenhall Air Fete. Like her two NC-141A sisters she was never stretched to the C-141B standard. Sadly she was reaching the end of her service life.
