The F-101A first flew in 1953 and quickly began setting records for speed, distance, and altitude. The success of the early Voodoos led to the decision to create a 2-seat all-weather interceptor version designated F-101B. This variant first flew in 1957!

On May 30, 1959 this aircraft was accepted by the U. S. Air Force, painted in Military Air Transport Service colors and markings and assigned to the 1298th Air Transport Squadron at Andrews AFB, MD with a deployment to Washington National Airport at D.C.!

The VC-118A was overshadowed during its service by the introduction of the first Boeing VC-137s. Both Presidents Kennedy and Johnson preferred to travel in the larger, faster jet aircraft and the VC-118 was used primarily for short trips!

'Tanker 48' built in 1961 and operated by Minden Air Corp. Now deployed here due to a high posibility that one of the forest fires in Arizona reach Ft. Huachuca!

The T-1A began as a Lockheed funded modification to the T-33. Changes included a more powerful engine and raising the instructor's seat by six inches to improve visibility. Of the 150 Seastars built only two are known to survive!

The Skyray was first proposed in 1947 as an attempt to make use of information on delta-wing designs captured from Germany at the end of World War II. It was also the first Navy aircraft to be capable of flying at Mach 1 in level flight!
