QF-4E 72-0162 used by the USAF Heritage Flight, painted in colors of Col.Robin Olds. Olds scored 4 MIG-kills in the conflict over SEA, hence the 4 stars on the splitter plate. The real 'Scat XXVII' is preserved at the Nat.Museum of the USAF.
initially destined as F-4B-19-MC. Converted to YF-4J prototype when still on the production line. Received new paintscheme in 2009, now resting in Tucson Pima Air & Space Museum
in tribute to Capt Jerry Bolt ('Thunderbird 4' in the 1972 season) and Tsgt Chuck Lynn, who died on a training flight on Dec 21st 1972. The 66-0294 flew as USAF Thunderbird between 1969 and 1974
between 2007 and 2010 the Dutch F-16 pilot training was conducted out of Springfield Ohio, before moving to Arizona. This F-16 still wears some markings remembering to that period.
