Served with 330 (Norwegian) Squadron out of Iceland for patrol duties. This aircraft was raised from a river where it sank in 1943. Northrop restored it to static condition and from 1980 this rare bird is part of the Gardermoen collection.
Two 'last ones' at the Swedish air force museum. The yellow Draken was painted as the last Draken with 3 Division and the red Viggen as the last Viggen with 1 Division of F10. 35541 moved to Tartu (Estonia) in 2010 for display.
The Forsvars- og Garnisons Museum is housed in one of the hangars of the former German seaplane base Aalborg See. So 'off airport' is not quite correct.
50 Spitfires were acquired, serialled 31001 to 31050. In 1982 this 51th example was bought from Indian stocks to represent s Swedish S 31. It is in full F11 markings.
