During early 1981 the Netherlands Air Force tested the AGM65 Maverick. Due to the dull weather these tests were unsuccessful, so the missile was not purchased.

Mollis offered a nice photospot with both a taxiway and a shelter. On top of the shelter was even a public resting place.
