NZ6206, of 75 Squadron at Ohakea, is the only RNZAF Skyhawk to have fired a shot in anger when in 1976, it shot over the bow of an illegally fishing Taiwanese trawler plundering the West Coast's squid populations. NZ6206 is on loan from the RNZAF Museum.

NZ1813, a Dove C.1 modified for aerial photography, served with 42 Squadron at RNZAF Ohakea as a communications aircraft before being relegated to GIA as 'INST216' with 4 TTS at RNZAF Base Woodbourne near Blenheim. She came to the MOTAT in September 2010.

Sunderland MR.5 NZ4115 under her temporary cover at the MOTAT Meola Road complex. She is to be restored in her 5 Squadron, RNZAF, colours. NZ4115 served with this unit with codes 'KN-A', 'KN-B' and 'KN-Q' from Laucala Bay, Fiji, from 1953 until 1965.

NZ944 arrived in New Zealand in May 1941 and served with Nos. 1 and 2 SFTS at Wigram and Woodbourne respectively as well as with 1FTS at Wigram. The Harvard was presented to the MOTAT in May 1962 and is now in her wartime yellow overall c/s.

Initially deployed with 60 Squadron, RAF, at Singapore, WR202 was later shipped to RNZAF Base Ohakea to become a ground instructional airframe (as INST.171). WR202 is on display at the MOTAT in 75 Squadron markings.

At the behest of New Zealander Sir Keith Park, TE456 was presented to the Auckland War Memorial Museum. As AOC Group, Park led his 11 Group fighter pilots with distinction throughout the Battle of Britain. TE456 is in her former 501 Squadron markings.

Found abandoned at Kara airfield in southern Bougainville, this composite Zero (forward section from A6M3 c/n 2835; rear fuselage from A6M3 3844) was shipped to Auckland for evaluation. The Zero had possibly served with 201 Kokutai, tailnumer '2-152'.

NZ2031 entered RNZAF service with No.2 GR Squadron at Nelson on 2 January, 1942, coded 'UH-H'. Later in the war, NZ2031 served with 3 Squadron at Espiritu Santo and as the personal transport of the AOC No.1 Islands Group at Guadalcanal.

NZ2305 started her life as a RAAF FB.40 (A52-19) and was later converted to T.43 with serial A52-1053. In 1947 the Mosquito was transferred to the RNZAF for intented service with 75 Squadron, but NZ2305 was stored at RNZAF Base Ohakea instead.

The port side of NX665 has recently been finished in the markings of Lancaster B.III NE181/JN-M of C Flight, 75 (NZ) Squadron. "The Captain's Fancy" became a 'Centurion' on 29 January, 1945, during an operation to Krefeld.
