Two Edwards AFB F-16B's, 92-0455/ED and 92-0456/ED, just landed at NAS Fort Worth. These planes are to support the first flight of the F-35A Lightning II prototype.
One of the chase planes during flight #20 of the F-35A Lightning II, was this F-16DJ. This plane is also used as a flying testbed for the F110-GE-132 engine, the engine used in the block 60 Desert Falcon.
This heavily modified Boeing 737-300 serves as a flying testbed for the F-35 Lightning II project. It is seen here on short finals to return to the Lockheed Martin plant in Fort Worth, Texas.
