On display aboard USS Intrepid. This Demon is from VF-41 'Black Aces' flying off USS Independence. VF-41 flew the Demon from 1957-62, having embarked once on USS Intrepid. The squadron moved from this all-weather missile fighter to the F-4B Phantom II.
