This Phantom has been converted in a QF-4G in 1999. Before that the aircraft flew at the 81 TFS/52 TFW at Spangdahlem. It remains to be seen how long it will still exist...

A very early RB-52B which was on display outside the Atomic Bomb Museum in Albuquerque NM. Love those old 'tall fin' BUFFs!

This RB-52B was only the 15th 'BUFF' produced. On the 21st May 1956 she dropped a 3.75 megatons Mk.15 hydrogen bomb, the first time that a B-52 had been used as a carrier and drop plane for this truly terrifying weapon.
