Lurking in the far corner of the hangar like a giant sleeping bat, this Ryan X-13A Vertijet plus her launch platform can now be found at the San Diego Air & Space Museum Gillespie Field Annex.

One of only five Vought F7U Cutlasses in existence, this F7U-3 arrived on board the USS Midway in January 2023 having been painstakingly restored by the Vought Aircraft Heritage Foundation’s retirees group in Dallas, Texas.
A beautiful 'gate guard' to the Palm Springs Air Museum, this TA-4J Skyhawk was originally built as a TA-4F. She flew with VC-8 out of Roosevelt Roads NAS, PR, from 1975 until she was struck off charge in 2003. I do like the cockpit canopy figures.

On display at the March Field Air Museum in October 1993 this F-84F Thunderstreak wore a spurious 71595 serial and a very questionable S.E.A. camouflage scheme as well as a stencil star-and-bar.
On display at March Field Air Museum, this F-86H Sabre has been beautifully restored and wears the bright orange livery of her first assignment in April of 1955, the 413th Fighter Day Group, Tactical Air Command, George Air Force Base California.
Back in October 1993 I think that the museum had recently moved from on-base to where it is located today. Many of the aircraft were then wearing questionable colour schemes as seen in this F-86H Sabre 53-1304 which has a sort of SEA camouflage scheme.
