The map leaves no doubt where this Hkp3C travelled from! On display in the static at the 1994 Middle Wallop International Airshow. She is now an instructional airframe at Ronneby-Kallinge. Then operated by Swedish Army Aviation / Armeflyget 2.

On display at the International Air Show '94 at Middle Wallop. Sadly this Alouette III was written off in 2006 after a hard landing on ice at Lac des Dix. Nobody was injured.

Kite I BGA285 on display in the Museum of Army Flying (since renamed The Army Flying Museum), is in the c/s of No.1 Glider Training School, RAF. As far is known the glider has no wartime service history.

Seen outside the Army Flying Museum at Middle Wallop, UK, in May 1994, this was a former Argentine III Brigada Aérea FMA IA-58 Pucara which had been captured at Stanley Airport, Falkland Islands and was shipped to the UK. Only her cockpit section survive

Back to the 1994 Middle Wallop International Air Show and a very clean looking Wessex HC.2 as 'C' operated by RAF 72 Sqn out of Aldergrove, NI. She is now listed as an instructional airframe at DFTDC Manston.

Back to the 14th May 1994 and the Middle Wallop International Air Show, this Shawbury based 2 FTS Gazelle HT.3 coded 'Y' was in the static display and seems rather ignored in favour of the Puma in the background. She went on to the civil register G-CBKA.

This was an AH-64A on the flight line operated by the U.S. Army Co.B 2-227th Aviation regiment based at Hanau, FRG. She was upgraded to AH-64D as as 01-05254 then to AH-64E.

The Atlas Rooivalk ("Red Falcon") was an 'unofficial' contender for the procurement of a new dedicated attack helicopter for the Army and it was certainly an impressive beast, even toting anti-aircraft missiles as seen here. It was based upon the Puma.

Back to the 14th May 1994 and the Middle Wallop International Air Show. This was from the bus tour and shows locally based Gazelle AH.1 coded as 'X' operated by AAC/670 Sqn. Recorded as now stripped for spares and probably scrapped.

Back to the International Airshow '94 at Middle Wallop on 14th May 1994, this was a Gazelle HCC.4 operated by 32 (The Royal) Squadron out of RAF Northolt. A lucky shot from the open-top tour bus. She went on to the civilian register as G-CBZL.

Back to the International Airshow '94 at Middle Wallop on 14th May 1994, this was a very new Lynx AH.9 operated by AAC/659 Squadron out of Detmold, FRG. This squadron moved to Wattisham the following year. Now stored at the former RAF Bentwaters site.

Back to the International Airshow '94 at Middle Wallop on 14th May 1994, this was Royal Danish Army Aviation Hughes 500M was on display in the static area. 27 years later she is preserved at Stauning.

Back to the International Airshow '94 at Middle Wallop, this Scout AH.1 stood out for me, love the dust cloud and the line of Bedford trucks in the background. I think this was her first year with the AAC / Historic Flight.

Back to the International Airshow '94 at Middle Wallop on 14th May 1994, this was the AAC / Historic Flight Sioux AH.1 XT131 'B' arriving with a small dust cloud. This angle shows just how fragile looking these early helicopters were.
