This aircraft, DG202/G, was the first F9/40 manufactured and the third Meteor in July 1943.
This aircraft was based in Cosford Museum before it came to Hendon.
N5182 served with 3 and 8 (Naval) Sq. from bases in Northern France during 1917/18. Remains were recovered from France in 1960 and the restored Pup returned to the air as G-APUP in 1973 in the hands of the late Neil Williams. N5182 came to Hendon in 1984

batch of 150 aircraft, which included the serials block MP391-MP430. Fitted with Armstrong Siddeley Cheetah engines.
