Originally built as an F4U-5NL (BuAerNo 124541) for the Argentine Navy, the Corsair now represents F4U-7 133704 of 14 Flotille as operated in Indochina until July 1955. The Corsair is owned by Meier Motors and is based at Bremgarten, Germany.

Nick Grey displaying TFC’s Sea Fury T.20 during the Flying Legends 2010 weekend. The Sea Fury is lacking the gun sighting arrangement above the glass cockpit tunnel. This ‘periscope’ was a feature peculiar to Royal Navy T.20’s.

Frédéric Akary’s Fury is one of 30 single seat aircraft delivered to the Iraqi Air Force in November 1949. The Fury was coded 250 in IAF service. In the 1990’s the Centaurus was replaced by a Wright R3350 geared to a four-bladed propeller.

TF-51D Mustang 'TF-871' with Marc Mathis at the controls, leaving Duxford for the flight back to Germany. Elmar Meier is in the back seat. The Mustang came to Bremgarten in 2009 and was previously registered in the US as N7098V.

Buchon C.4K-102 'Gelbe 10' in the 1968 Battle of Britain film livery. The HFL/Spitfire Ltd aircraft is operated and maintained by ARCo at Duxford. The Buchon is flown here by its managing director John Romain.

This A6M3-22 Reisen was part of 252 Kokutai of the Imperial Japanese Naval Air Service, stationed on Maloelap Atoll, Taroa Island in the Marshall Islands Group. Recovered during the early 1990's, the remains of the Zero came to Duxford in June 1999.

The Tiger's Head of the 79th FS, 20th FW (RAF Upper Heyford) applied to the port side of F-111E 67-0120 by artist Ron Wong. The aircraft came to Duxford on 19 October 1993.

461748 'It's Hawg Wild' served with 371st BS/307th BG at Kadena AFB from August 1950. The B-29 was flown to Duxford in 1979.

The Bolingbroke IVT cockpit section was removed from the aircraft after the landing accident in August 2003. Some instruments, control column and the pilot’s seat have been removed. The instrument panel in the Blenheim I cockpit is considerably smaller.

Blenheim I cockpit section fitted to the Bolingbroke IV fuselage, following succesful trials in May 2008. The cockpit comes from an Avro built Blenheim, delivered to 23 Squadron at RAF Wittering on September 2, 1939.

Restoration work on the Bolingbroke IVT/Blenheim I combination is progressing slowly and it will take the ARCo at least some years to return it to the air. The aircraft will most likely represent nightfighter Blenheim I L6739, 23 Squadron, 1939/40.

AV Roe & Co Ltd (Avro) built 78 examples of the Spanish Cierva C.30 under licence as Avro Type 671. Autogyro G-ACUU joined Air Training Service Ltd in 1934 before being imressed in 1942. It served with 529 Squadron as Rota HM580.

ZH590 (DA4) was the first UK built two seat Typhoon and the first powered by the EJ200. ZH590 first flew from Warton on 14 March 1997. The aircraft is seen here minus its engines in the Air Space at Duxford.

ZH590 (DA4) retired from flight testing and development in early December 2006 when the aircraft came to RAF Coningsby for use as a ground instructional airframe. ZH590 arrived at the IWM Duxford on 22 April 2009.

Duxford's F-15 was delivered to the 36th TFW at Bitburg AB, Germany, on 7 July 1977 and served 22 TFS and 525 TFS. The Eagle is now in the markings of the 5th FIS when based at Minot AFB, North Dakota. This unit operated the F-15 from 1984 until 1988.
