'till 1999 Buochs was Mirage-County. AMIR'16 seen during take-off during last repetition course together with Mirage IIIS. A year later the AMIR's where based here together with F-5 Tiger II.

Tiger J-3003 awaits his last flight in and for Switzerland. It flies now as 761528 in the USA as Aggressor, unfortunately in 'normal' color. This F-5E was also known by Spotters as TigerTiger, but his 'real' name was 'Sinacat'.

'Sinacat' received this livery also for public relations to the Swiss Armed Forces Competitions. As you can see I'm not a Fan of 'faked' pictures and didn't insist to the mechanics to clean the a/c for me. I like the real thing !

One of the three Hawks ready for Cockpit modifications by RUAG that day. In Switzerland the Hawks where introduced in 1991 and the last official flight took place on 13th December 2002, see also the writing below cockpit. Used now by Finnish Air Force.
