Fitted with an O-320-A2B engine, this former French ALAT Cub 182540 is essentially a PA-18-150. The aircraft represents KLu Cub 'R-170'. The 'real' R-170, registered PH-WAS, was destroyed in a hangar fire at Seppe on 5th May 1982.

PH-UCS is in the colours of L-4J R-345, in service with the ML-KNIL in 1947. The aircraft was handed over to the Indonesian AURIS, in March 1950. PH-UCS was one of around 20 Cubs taking part in the 2012 Piper Cub Fly-In at Texel Airport.

A 'Gathering of Cubs' at Texel Airport. LGB was one of three Belgian registered Cubs coming to the island for the 2012 Piper Cub Fly-In, held during the weekend of 11 to the 13th of May.

The Boultbee Spit with pilot Matt Jones and 'navigator' Willy Hackett fuel stopping at Texel enroute to Kjevik, Norway. Code 'KJ-I' is of 4 Squadron, SAAF, and represents Spitfire V ES127 which was converted in the field into a 2-seater for 261 Squadron.

Firmly tied-down to the Texel turf. R-137 aircraft is operated by KLu's Historical Flight, based at Gilze-Rijen. The GPLV (Groep Lichte Vliegtuigen/Light Aircraft Group) emblem is on the fin.

Despite strong winds on the Saturday, a number of Cubs managed to find their way to Texel Island for the Old Timer & Tail Dragger Fly In. Behind is Cub R-137.

This Yak-3 is based at Lelystad Apt in the Netherlands and is seen arriving here for the Tail Dragger & Old Timer Fly in held on Texel Island in the weekend of 16/17 May 2009. Poor visibility, high winds and rain marred the event.

The S-13 was meant to be a two engine trainer. With the MDAP Beech model 18 the European armed forces received a same trainer for free. Therefore the S-13 never reached production. PH-NEI/D-101 was the sole machine ever built. Cockpit preseverd at Texel.
