Stopping in Reykjavík on its way to England. Sitting in the rain and waiting for clear weather. It was then based at Duxford from 1982 to 1993 when it was shipped to the USA. It was noted at the Tillamook Air Museum, OR in 2008 at least.

Visting with the Icelandic Coast Guard. Starting engines on taxiway Alpha that runs straight in front of the Coast Guard hangar. This Seaking serves with 330 squadron, which operated Northrop N-3PBs in Iceland during WW2.

Visting the Icelandic Coast guard for cooperative exercises and leaving for home after the visit, taking off from runway 19. 330 squadron was the unit that operated the Northrop N-3PB in Iceland during WW2.

Just landed after a ferry flight from Prestwick on a delivery to the US. Earlier registrations were: VX281, G-9-64, D-CACO. It then became: N8476W, NX281L and then at last G-RHNF with the Royal Navy Historic Flight where it was repainted in a new scheme.

One of the nicer warbirds to stop over in Reykjavík. Alas it has become quite rare for such to brave the North Atlantic crossing and most are now sent back an forth by container. No photo opportunity there.
