P-3C, LT-289 from VP-62, Broad Arrows based at NAS Jacksonville, Florida basks reflected in the sunshine after a heavy rainshower at Keflavik. This P-3C is the commanders aircraft and the only one in the squadron to have full color tail markings.

Showing the clean lines of the 57th FIS F-15Cs with the conformal tanks. To my knowledge they never carried any underwing drop tanks for missions while they were here in Iceland. The last 57th F-15C left Iceland on Feburary 26, 1995 and that was 80-0038.

The AC-130 certainly has a lot of bumps, pods, antennas, intakes and of course the three major heavy guns added to the basic airframe. Strange to remember that the first C-130 flew in 1954. How many of you enthusiasts were even born then. I was twelve.
