Looking at the marking near the door it seems the A400M has now been (officially?) baptized "Grizzly One". Photographed during its first public appearance at ILA 2010.
ZH588 (DA2), the first UK prototype, made its first flight on 6 April 1994. In 2001 the aircraft deployed to RAF Leuchars and has since carried 43 Squadron's 'Fighting Cock' on the fin. The Typhoon came to the RAF Museum on the 22nd January 2008.
ZH590 (DA4) was the first UK built two seat Typhoon and the first powered by the EJ200. ZH590 first flew from Warton on 14 March 1997. The aircraft is seen here minus its engines in the Air Space at Duxford.
ZH590 (DA4) retired from flight testing and development in early December 2006 when the aircraft came to RAF Coningsby for use as a ground instructional airframe. ZH590 arrived at the IWM Duxford on 22 April 2009.
