Shuttleworth's M.1C is the second replica from the Northern Aeroplane Workshops. C4918 is finished in the standard Middle East PC12 red-brown scheme as worn by 72 Squadron M.1Cs in 'Mesops', in March 1918. At that time the unit was based at Basra, Iraq.
Roger Bailey flying the Shuttleworth Camel. The original D1851 was constructed by Ruston, Proctor & Co Ltd. of Lincoln. D1851, constructed by the Northern Aeroplane Workshops, is in the markings of 70 Squadron on the Western Front.
On 31 March 2017, XV Squadron disbanded at RAF Lossiemouth. The squadron flew Hinds at RAF Abingdon from March 1936 until June 1938. The Shuttleworth's Hind has worn the markings of XV Squadron since 1984.
