Now thats a Flyby! Here we have 4x F-14D from VF-31, 4x F/A-18F from VFA-11, 2x F/A-18C from VFA-34 and 2x F/A-18C from VFA-87. This was the Navy Fleet Flyby at the 2006 NAS Oceana Air Show. A tribute to those who lost their lives on 9/11 2001.

VFA-11 "Red Rippers" CAG jet AC-100 taxies infront of the crowd at the 2006 NAS Oceana Air Show. This jet was believed to have been lost on January 7, 2008 after being involved in a mid air collison with F/A-18E 166656 assigned to VFA-105 "Gunslingers".
