The Pützer Elster was used by the West German air force for recreational purposes. this one once flew as 97+19 in the Luftwaffe. Seen at the 2019 Oldtimer Fliegertreffen at Hahnweide.

Flying one of the most incredible aircrafts in the world, the Elster. You need your feets for the pedal ruder, but for the nose wheel stearing you need one hand on the lever in the middle. Next hand you need for the stick and one for the engine controls.

Ex-German-Airforce 97+20. Only a few(probably less than 10) Elsters are still flyable. Now based at Nordholz-Spieka (EDXN) This type is known as the plane you need more than two arms to fly because of the "stupid" position of some controls!
