'it's Hawg Wild' is on display in the American Air Museum exhibition at IWM Duxford.

With the refurbishment of the AAM in full progress "Hawg Wild" is parked temporarily on the jet pan. On 16 February 1980, the B-29 left Tucson via Flint Apt., Loring AFB, Gander, Sondrestrom, Keflavík and Mildenhall to arrive at Duxford on 2 March 1980.

Duxford's B-29 was built at Boeing's Renton plant as B-29A-45NT and served with the 307th BW as "It's Hawg Wild" during the Korean War from Kadena AFB, Okinawa. She ended up in open storage at the Naval Weapons Center, China Lake, California in 1956.

Taken during the early morning from the Weather Office tower. I seem to remember that this spot of sunlight only lasted for about 15 minutes or so. It was on its way to the Imperial War Museum at Duxford.

461748 'It's Hawg Wild' served with 371st BS/307th BG at Kadena AFB from August 1950. The B-29 was flown to Duxford in 1979.
