And the future is bright! This was Tornado F.2 ZD905 'AV' operated by RAF 229 OCU on the display ramp at the 1986 Mildenhall Air Fete. She and her sisters were to replace the Lightnings and Phantoms then in service.

Back to the 1985 IAT at RAF Fairford, this was Tornado F.2 serial ZD934 operated by 228 OCU as 'AD'. Now her forward fuselage is believed to be an instructional airframe at RAF Leeming.
